FAQs

Do you set up the cinema for us?

CiniManx is a drop-off / pick-up service. The kit arrives packed with a laminated one-page guide and colour-coded cables. Most hosts are screening within 20–30 minutes. Full on-site operator hire isn’t included — keeping costs lean and schedules flexible.

What if the weather turns windy?

Wind is the main risk on the Island. The 200" screen is anchored with heavy sandbags/water weights and guy ropes. You’re contractually required to move gear indoors if sustained winds exceed roughly 15–20 mph. We’ll share the full rental agreement with your confirmation.

Can I use it indoors?

Yes — living rooms, halls, marquees and barns work beautifully with the same kit. Confirm ceiling height and throw distance when you book.

What content can we play?

The projector runs Google TV — stream apps you already subscribe to, cast from a phone, or plug HDMI from a laptop. You are responsible for lawful private viewing of licensed content.

Where do you deliver?

Based in Ramsey, we cover the whole Isle of Man — Douglas, Peel, Port Erin, Castletown, Onchan, the North and rural addresses. Remote or multi-trip access may need a short chat first.

Is the £50 deposit always taken?

Yes, before drop-off via a secure payment link. It covers lost remotes, cable damage and similar. It’s refunded after collection when everything is complete and in working order.
